I traveled to Esbjerg, Denmark by car to visit an international photography exhibition where I was part of. Together with my Filmer David we traveled along the east and west coast of Denmark to explore the countryside of this country. With me I had the Nikon ZF (using Deep Monochrome a lot) and the Sigma 10-18mm 2.8 DC lens for Fuji x.
Join us on this adventure in the north 🙂

  1. Still happy with your stone grey version? Or would you like to switch to another color?

  2. Ah Denmark, a bit closer to my home Sweden. I hope you will come to Stockholm one day.

  3. 📷🖤🤍✨/ Hello
Great road trip always with a dash of humour, the black and white photos are great, I like such videos top.

  4. Hi Samuel, very nice video and really cool shots, especially ‚the nine‘! May I ask, what was the backpack you carried (in the library for example)? Thanks & best!

  5. One thing that bugs me aesthetically about retro cameras, is how the modern lenses have a much larger diameter than primes of the past. A Zf with a W-Nikkor S lens adapted onto it looks perfect to me. Exactly the size and proportions I have always wanted a retro FX sensor Nikon to be. It's the only digital camera other than a GR that I would be excited to own and use.

  6. I really loved the red filter deep monochrome of Nikon Zf. I was already tempted by it to buy and you are not helpful too 😀 I have never had any intention to buy Ricoh by your videos but you perform better for Nikon in means of marketing, lol 🙂 Enjoyable video as always cheers.

  7. Great video about your Zf – Denmark trip and beautiful b/w shots! 🙂
    I have 2 questions, if I may 🙂
    1. Is the manual focus experience on the Zf the best so far compared to what you had before on digital (rangefinders excluded)?
    2. Were some shots edited by you or did you use Nikon mono profiles exclusively (deep mono most)?
    3. If yes to the profiles, what settings did you custermize?
I tested your flat mono + added contrast and really like it so far 🙂

  8. enjoyable video… really appreciate the B&W stills… glad to see you featuring the Nikon Zf. I have settled on it for my only camera so I can concentrate on getting interesting images.

  9. I watched your last two videos with great pleasure. Entertaining and informative. I

I'm planning to get the Nikon Z f wirh the Voightländer Nokton 40/1.2.

What is that strap you are using with the camera?

  10. Loving the photography and looks like you both had fun. Really enjoying your work and love the tonal range on your B&W. Is this solely down to the lens or is there an element of post production after?

  11. There hasn't been a place in Denmark I've been where people are not casually engaging in artistic projects. Simple things like taking care of their garden is done with an artistic approach, while in most other places I've been seen as either a chore or simply a meditating job to do, the Danes are engaging with it differently.

Of course that's from my experience.
