This video shows you a drive from the city center of Asahikawa to the “Michi no eki (道の駅)” and explore it.
“Michi no eki” means a roadside station where they sell local specialties and provide road and tourist information.
It’s not a huge & hot spot, but it’s not far from the city center.
This time I ate a Shoyu ramen by Yoshino – a ramen brand of Asahikawa, and some nice grilled sandwiches.
If you don’t have enough time to look around Asahikawa, perhaps I recommend here.
