◯Ocean Tokyu Ferry started operating in 2016, connecting Tokyo, Tokushima and Kitakyushu.
There is no restaurant on the ferry, so buying your meals from the vending machine makes this ferry so popular. In addition to rice and bread, there is a variety of food, including soba and bibimbap.
Thanks to the evolution of frozen foods and the improvement of onboard cooking facilities, I was able to enjoy my time on this long trip.

Tips
– There is no store in the waiting area, they only sell drinks and cup ramen.
– The ferry does not offer free Wi-Fi and you probably can’t get a mobile phone signal, it’s better to download movies or books the day before to watch offline.
– The ferry will pass under Tokyo Gate Bridge right after departing from Tokyo. The bridge is so beautiful when it is lit up, so we recommend going to the deck for a better view.
