In Kyoto we decided to bike to all of our site seeing destinations. It was fun, relaxing, and super adventurous. Early morning we visited Fushimi (Red Gates). Next we biked over to Kiyimizu which is a famous look out. Unfortunately for us, it was under construction and the cherry blossoms were not in full bloom. Next, we did Nishiki Fish market where we bumped into Conan O’Brien. We chatted and he offered to take a pic with us :). After a quick break, we visited The Philosophers Path which is a gorgeous Cherry Blossom viewing location. Another gorgeous Cherry Blossom spot can be found at Kiya-Machi Dori Street. At this time it started to rain as we headed to Maruyama Park to see the famous Weeping Willow Cherry Blossom tree. We ate at the park in a comfortable portable restaurant.
