ANA Intercontinental Tokyo houses some of the finest Japanese restaurants and so I made a reservation for a late lunch at Teppanyaki Akasaka. Most Teppanyaki chef in Japan take their craft seriously. There are no theatrics, they don’t toss their food around and they treat the ingredients with care and respect. The teppanyaki was excellent and as expected, the chef was meticulous in preparation and presentation. The beef had a chance to rest before the final step of a flambé.
