Civilised start to the day in Hiroshima 9:30 am with a 23 C day. After catching a ferry over to Miyajima Island, otherwise known as Itsukushima, or Divine Island we visited the Itsukushima Shrine and admired the elaborate torii gate rising majestically out of the sea.
A wonderful 2.5 hours spent wandering around this fascinating island and it was back on the ferry and bused to the Peace Memorial Park and Museum and Ground Zero with A Bomb Dome.
