Battleship Yamato’s final sortie is known as the “Kamikaze Attack”.

order ①Go to Okinawa while destroying enemy battleships.

order ②Run ashore on the beach and shoot until you run out of shells.

It’s a strategy I don’t quite understand. Moreover, there was even a note saying, “We do not expect any military results from this operation.”

He also tells the crew that this operation is a special attack.

Why do I have to die?
I don’t think there is a correct answer to this question.

The battleship Yamato carries crew members who have carried out a deadly mission.

This is a special ship for Japanese people.

0:00 Movie, Otokotachino Yamato, Archimedesno Taisen

4:44 old Japanese navy

8:50 Panoramic view of Yamato Museum

9:00 outside exhibits

10:20 Inside

14:54 Human torpedo, Kaiten type 10(genuine)
I cut up a surplus battery-powered torpedo, attached a driver’s seat, and welded it together.
200 boats were prepared for the main
land battle.
Original torpedo in the back

16:50 A large lathe that machined Yamato’s main gun (46 cm). Exhibited here through crowdfunding.
Hard to see through glass

17:42 It seems to be the same as Yamato’s deck, but you’d have to have a really strong imagination to figure it out…

  2. I have this movie in my home collection. Every war is always a tragedy for simple people, and our politicians must remember it. A very sad story of Yamato battleship. Many young sailors died , no words to explain my feelings. Real tragedy.
