I did a crazy thing – I went from Kyoto to the last JR station – Makurazaki (the south of Kyushu).
It took me 3 days and almost 25 hours by a local train. I also used special ticket Seishun 18 kippu that allowed me to travel spending only $25 every day.
In this video, I d like to show Day 1-2.
My whole route:
Kyoto – Himeji – Fukuyama – Mihara – Iwakuni – Shimonoseki – Kokura – Ginsui – Yatsushiro – Sendai -Kagoshima-chuo – Makurazaki
