I like the idea of using the remaining balance on the IC cards to get snacks! For the trip home, it would be good to have some treats!
Thank you for your videos, I enjoy them so much and many helpful points. My family and I are things getting ready for our first trip to Japan next June 2024.
Given the cash limit on the IC cards is 20 000 yen, that's a lot of cash. I want to use the IC card to prevent carrying a lot of notes. The issue for me is the lack of refundability in case I miscalculate. I'm just going to have to be careful that I do not overload my IC card!
I have been trying to research the luggage transfer service from hotels to the airport and goodness, the websites are not good. They assume luggage transfers between the airport and your hotel! Moreover, it seems that you need to send your luggage days before you leave your hotel. It does not travel the same day facepalm
There seems to be no easy way to avoid the JR queue/counter at the airport to reserve a seat on the N'Ex. No-one knows for certain how long they will be in other airport queues (for WiFi etc)… so getting out of Narita looks like it will be a long process. Looking forward to getting to my hotel at maybe 11pm! LOL
