Travel Thursdays, Travel Thursdays, we are doing van life again.🥁🎶🎵🚐
did you answer this question – do you keep any storage in the US or did you sell all of your stuff?
Travel Thursdays. Really enjoying these, would love to hear more about Joshs packing skills (reducing to the bare minimum). Are you planning to come to Melbourne? Cheers
Your Dark Knight analogy is spot on! I found – and fell in love with – you guys because you're so authentic. You travel like normal people. You speak like normal people. You aren't acting like influencers in any way, which I greatly appreciate. I hope you maintain that standard, even as your channel grows and offers/sponsors come along. Even when you're traveling in First Class and being invited onto yachts….I hope you never lose your authenticity (as we've seen other travel vloggers do).
My question for the next Travel Thursday: what's the most frightening (or most challenging) situation you've found yourself in? And how did you handle it?
A Senior here was going to buy you a coffee, but only use PayPal sorry. From Auz picked you guys up from One Pack Wanderers. Just have fun guys.
I love that packpack that opens as a suit case. I will definitely consider looking at it. I don't like online shopping for certain items. I like to touch things and look at every compartment.
I had this video on in the background, and when I heard my name I yelled out "HEY THAT'S ME!" and I woke up my partner.
I'd love to see this spreadsheet y'all have. I'm sure there's someone out there who could use it to justify traveling, and go "hey I think I can make this work longer than I thought".
Keep up the great content y'all!
Your video has a unique charm that sets it apart from the rest. Captivating!
Love your travel support and travel videos ❣️ thanks for sharing all your tips and experiences.
I was wondering what your experiences were interacting with locals in Japan and in South Korea? Do you feel they’re open and that it’s easy to interact with them and even make friends with them?
I would absolutely love to see a packing video. I’m so obsessed with finding the best packing methods and always seem to pack wayyyy to much with every trip. Thanks for all the great content. We love watching your journeys
You are right with some creators. They take their followers for granted or they are legends in their own mind. They start off well and end up content ends up about them (if you know what I mean).
Love following you two.
NEVER THROW IN THE TOWEL WE LOVE YOU 😁We also agree with y'all about burnout… It's one of those things you hope never happens but we're human 🙂 Also, Cotopaxi is definitely one of the best but no water bottle holder? A bit odd if you ask us LOL
I’m planning a trip to NZ next year. I hope you’ll be releasing some videos about your trip!
Really doing a fantastic job!
I have a request. When you mention a product or a website, would you mind linking it in the description? Your info is so helpful but I often can’t find what you’ve mentioned. For example, the Japanese website with restaurant reviews—-I couldn’t figure out what you were saying. I know it’s more work but I sure would appreciate it! ❤
"Cables! SO MANY CABLES!" I love that clip. On the topic of digital security, I recommend you place a security freeze on all your credit reports, the US DHS, and Chexsystems. Place "verbal passwords" on all your bank/brokerage accounts and do NOT enable "voice verification". As a Youtuber, AI can replicate your voice very easily. Identity theft while you're abroad is an absolutely horrible experience. Stay safe out there! 😀
Hey fellow Wisconsinites,
Thanks so much for answering my questions last week! Flying to NYC first is a great idea! We flew Air France (from ORD) last time, but I didn't know what I was doing and spent 35K for economy! I'll try to get business class next time for the same amount of points!
Now to answer your questions: If we were sports fans, we'd root for the Packers. Brats? You betcha!…we had brats today, at a get-together at our place. (Of course, we stopped at Kwik Trip for the trifecta….buns, bananas and onions). Culvers?… of course! Fleet Farm? Yep, but mostly Menards.
Lisa's next answer was so honest and touching and surprising. Even though I was aware of the crime against Asians after Covid, for some reason, it didn't even occur to me that you'd be subjected to racism or negative YouTube comments. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. I saw how Josh just wanted to hug and comfort Lisa as she was talking. I wanted to, too!
Thanks again Josh and Lisa, for all you do, for answering my questions, and for being the wonderful people you are! 💕

Loving TST! Our family travels a lot, and we are always open to "in the moment" delicious food finds but I have to say Google maps reviews have helped us a ton at various destinations around the globe. I like to look up "cheap eats near me" when we are out and about. I also use Google maps for all sorts of other things – free activity near me, parks near me, toilettes near me, etc. It is a life saver for knowing what days and times a place may be closed or what landmarks may require a reservation (think museums etc. in New York, Barcelona or Paris). I think looking for trends within the details and photos of the reviews helps us decide if a place or activity is a good fit with our crew. Google maps also helps us figure out what neighborhoods we might like to stay in – I not only check out the lodging itself but what is nearby and connections to local transport, etc.
Excited for your NZ footage! Also a goal destination of mine 🙂 My questions for next Thursday are:
(1) Do you fly only with travel points through credit card churning, or do you also collect sky miles? If so, which airline credit card is best for sky miles?
(2) I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred card. The card makes my points worth 25% more when I book through the Chase travel portal. Josh, I believe you said to not do that but transfer the points to an airline website. I am still not sure I understand. Could you run us through an illustration of how the "points transfer" is more advantageous?
Here is what happened: I earned 60,000 points last year (= $600 redemption value) on a $1,739 trip with American Airlines. Through the Chase portal, my points ended up being worth $750 (25% more value). How would transferring the points have helped? Thank you!
So we are getting the band back together. I see you guys. 🤣😂
I would like to know what places/ experiences are at the very top of your bucklist 🌎
I leave as much stuff as possible in a locker at the train station when I’m out walking around. I’ll carry my wallet, phone, and maybe a camera.
How can an individual that is semi disabled due to back problems do the "back pack" thing when traveling? I can not carry anything on my back! Thanks, love all the videos
I love your channel. But, can you make these types of vlogs half hour or so, instead of almost an hour? When you do the longer city vlogs, I'm fine with that. I know your trying to present all the info, in one sitting. But the Q&As are too long.
I'll give an example of another set of Youtubers, Kara&Nate, who became so successful, that their vlogs are totally unrealistic. They are multi-millionaires and never pay for anything they vlog on. They do things that cost way more than almost all their viewers can afford. We stopped watching them, because they are fakes. Lisa&Josh, keep your vlog real and affordable.
What will be your next destination ? 🙂
