As for how Dr Claude describes Racism, let all the African and or black persons in Thailand start to try to open businesses ( a community ) all in one specific area, and then we'll see if the Racism shows its Ugly reality!
Other groups like the Chinese, Koreans, and maybe people from India come in and are able to build such communities and flourish in some cases. When Discrimination meets with Race then one begins to see the whole Truth!

Racism is everywhere but too many times it's used as an excuse not to prosper. Brush it off your shoulders and stand tall.
Of course there is racism in Thailand, just like every country – we are all human beings and have such traits. BUT Thai people (like most Asian people) are not outwardly racist, verbally or physically attack other cultures – unlike in the US where there are many instances of Blacks violently attacking elder Asians. You're lucky to be in Asia where people are more polite and respect elders. It is sickening to see so many Blacks violently attacking elder Asians in the US.
The only times I’ve had issues with racism was from Farangs. One was a drunk Russian, the other a bigot from England. The Russian had to eat a deserving right hand to his forehead. He continued to use the N word as the Tuk Tuk was driving away. The British guy was just insulting and was, of course … properly ignored. Thai people, with the exception of their pre occupation with lightness, … are NOT Racist. Color does matter … but Race doesn’t.

I have been in Thailand for two weeks and what this man just said in this video, I just told my homeboy two days ago. It's not the Thai people if anything it's the foreigners. If the Thai people don't like you, you will not know it. But with the foreigners they look at you fun. Hell the hate from foreigners in my eyes mean black people also, it's a lot of you that hate everything YOUR NOT.

I was raised in Stockton, CA (209) in the Northern part of the Central Valley. Stockton has to be one of the most multi-cultural spots in the nation beyond a shadow of a doubt.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that Thai, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Hmong, and Filipino people for the most part are some of the least racist folks in the world.
Seriously… you make friends with them and they treat you like family… and for the record, their women love Black men.
They're proud, fierce, and loyal.

Yes, there is racism in Thailand as well as all of the countries that I have ever been to (over 60 different countries around the world).
I say this with respect but americsn black people have this deeply logged victim mentality. Thats why they always do videos like….. what it's like to be black in Columbia or whatever given country. Jews have been discriminated against since the beginning of time but you don't see a Jewish person saying what it's like to be Jewish in South America or Poland or Germany. Black American culture seems to use their skin color as their identity. So, the problem is if you are looking for something hard enough you will find it even if it's not there. Any inequity will be automatically construed as, yep there's racism here. When really maybe someone is just an a**** like in Europe. I don't think it serves anyone to constantly view themselves as a victim because as a victim you can't be successful. Again, that is why Jewish people and Indian people and people from Africa are doing so well now because they don't view themselves as victims and they don't constantly look for victimhood status in any given situation
Theres racism in EVERY Race. Ignoring real world facts will not help you. And people dont usually talk about it but, The racism is based on cultures.
