I had the incredible opportunity to attend my very first baseball game in Japan, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. From making new friends to learning about the game and the unique fan culture, I’m excited to share my journey with you.
π₯ Meet My New Friends: Jenifer & her family and Haruka.
I was lucky enough to be invited to the game by Jenifer, a subscriber and supporter of my channel,. The story of how I met Haruka at Istanbul airport and the friendship that blossomed from that chance encounter is one of the highlights of this adventure.
βΎ The Baseball Game
I admit I knew nothing about baseball, but with George’s help, I began to understand the game’s rules (somewhat!). The atmosphere at the stadium was electric, and you could feel the energy in the air. Japanese baseball fans are passionate, and their unwavering support for their teams is truly inspiring.
π Unique Experiences
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that baseball games in Japan have cheerleaders, and each player has their own dedicated chant! The camaraderie among fans, regardless of the game’s outcome, was heartwarming.
π Becoming a Hanshin Tigers Fan
Even though the Tigers lost the game we attended, I can proudly say that I’m now a hardcore Hanshin Tigers fan for life, thanks to the incredible fan experience.

Jenifer teaches an old Ninja Monkey new tricks. This was a cute outing. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but have made a few games in my life. I discussed going to a game in Japan since my friend is a big fan and player of the game. We have yet to make it work, but it will happen. Great video, you were definitely a Happy Gaijin on this day.
