I like bread in O'KEY, I buy it all the time👍👍👍
Thanks Russell! Very informative I enjoy videos like this longer the better for me, I feel sorry our souls in the UK, we are paying 2 to 3 times more for our basic grocery.
Do they sell bicarbonate of soda aka baking soda and do they sell baking powder and vanilla beans or vanilla extract yes all eggs in Wiscinsin are sold in a cold case.✅
😂toilet paper is like a fortune here I see Tide and Kleenex American products 😅😅😅Anerican business men who dont care about sanctions still want to make money and it is foolish.
Much cheaper than England.
”In europe they go bck next week”.
In sweden kids have been back to school for like two or three weeks…
How well it is stocked with comparison to the even most expensive supermarkets in the UK like M&S, Waitrose…
usually pet owners go to stores like "four paws" where you can buy any food for animals at all, even in cans, even in bulk
👍👍👍❤❤❤🙂🙂🙂
And again a Russian Supermarket – how many will you show us. Don't you have something more interesting to show?
I was just wondering if there is a Russian meat shop. We had special shops that sold meat a couple of days a week when I lived in South America.
Food prices in the US are ridiculously high, especially if you're interested in eating something decent rather than a bunch of junk.
Looks like the life
Your prices are so cheap!
So very clean and a great assortment .Certainly not expensive Question Does Russia. have food banks ? I very much doubt Do they have crisps as in Potato Chips in various flavours Oh the only tea I've ever enjoyed is tea from the Black Sea ..Many thanks Russell .Most enjoyable .Be fun to go to Department store for clothing .and shoes .
Interesting, Ruskies on the zero line dont eat and are slaughtered dying by the hundreds every day while you film food, which the average ruskie (outside Moscow and St Petersburg) can't afford
Chicken nuggets are nasty! Great store thou .
another supermarket? sigh
love these market videos ! thank you !!
You see already updated and re-designed supermarket. O'KEY made that a year or two ago. Those wooden ceilings and different lighting were made that time. Also a cafe on the entrance (don't know about a cafe inside, near the salads section, my O'KEY doesn't have that). I live near the O'KEY Bolshevikov in St. Petersburg, this is my walking distance supermarket.
awesome store tbh.
Next time show us some soft drinks and not just cola if its possible please! Thanks for the video!
I like those small baskets, these are needed in the States.
Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, nice low prices. What is the average weekly income? That would give us perspective on cost of living
It looks surprisedly Brazilian. I'd feel at home. I knew some Russians when I was living in the US for my PhD. Great people.
with those prices on that dangerous aisle…, ohh my
Price for average bottle of wine ?
Another well stocked store, clean and neat. Prices are so much better over there then where I'm at. Just can't compare. Great video. Actually every shopping mall and store video I've seen you do is very well done.
always the same
some prices are comparable cheap
some prices are coming close to Western level
and if you now divide through 100 based on the collapsed rubel…the question is if the salaries in the last months raised 40 %…surely not. This means for Russians the prices are much higher
taking into consideration the average salary Russian grocery shopping is not cheaper as in the West. Fact.
But enjoy living in denial
Russell, please go to some РЫНОК (rynok). For example Dorogomilovsky.
It's funny to read how viewers from the west console themselves with the fact that their salary is higher, but what good is it if there is little that can be bought for it, especially after all the expenses. In Russia, more than 82 percent of citizens have their own housing without mortgages and other encumbrances, and even more than 50 percent have a second suburban housing. How many Western countries can boast of this?. The salary in Russia is less relative to the dollar, but in Russia you will not be able to buy anything for a dollar, and in modern reality, will you be able to exchange it for rubles? This is a question, Economists have introduced such an indicator as the purchasing power index of the population and in Russia it is at a high level, but the second indicator is household debts several times lower than in the United States, for example. In the West, it is customary to live in debt, which means, in fact, that the West is bankrupt.
Russell, I noticed that some of the items in the personal care section were in plastic security boxes. Here in Texas, where I live, it is quite common for stores to have all kinds of items locked in those security boxes to deter theft. I have even seen something like a steak wrapped up in what they call a spider wrap security tag because people are stealing meat, especially in big box stores like Wal-Mart. Some of the personal care items are behind locked glass, and the customer has to wait for an associate to come and unlock it so that they can get the item they want to purchase. Is that something that is common that you have seen in Russia? I enjoy your videos and learning about other cultures and countries.
