In our Day 1 vlog, we embarked on an exciting adventure to Okinawa, a city known for its captivating blend of Japanese and American influences. We caught an early morning flight and headed straight to Pork Tomago Onigiri, where we enjoyed their mouthwatering “Potama sandwich.” After satisfying our appetites, we took a leisurely stroll through the streets of 平和通リ商店街, immersing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere. Of course, we couldn’t miss trying the famous ice cream at Blue Seal there before treating ourselves to a steaming bowl of ramen at Ramen Danbo Naha.
Our next stop was the Minatogawa Stateside Town, where we discovered the cozy atmosphere of oHacorté, a delightful café. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We took a moment to unwind, trying the delicious fruit tart and soaking in the calm atmosphere.
As the day went on, we drove to the coast near Parco City, where we enjoyed the sea breeze and witnessed a breathtaking sunset. The view was simply amazing!
To end our eventful day, we decided to try the skewer buffet at Kishikado Kumoji Branch. While they didn’t exceed our expectations, we still enjoyed trying a variety of flavors. It was a satisfying way to wrap up a busy day.
With happy hearts and cherished memories, we returned to our hotel, Hotel Frand Consort Naha to mark the end of my birthday.
