Independent Japanese streetwear band HEIHEI (@heihei_official) will have a popup shop at LaForet Harajuku from October 24 to November 2, 2017. The designer will be at the shop to meet people, exclusive items will be available, @fanatic__tokyo collaborations, and the Japanese artist Ayami Nakazawa will do live drawing on some days.
We first met HEIHEI founder Shohei Kato when he was a soft spoken teen finding his own personal style on the streets of Harajuku. In the years since, we have followed him as he graduated from Bunka Fashion College and started his own brand. There are many kids who come and go through Harajuku, but only a few ever reach the point where their brand does a popup at Harajuku’s most famous department store. We are very proud of all of the work that Shohei has put in over the years and we wish him the best. Please stop by the popup if you’re in Tokyo and say hello to him!
