This show was one of the Pokemon World Celebration events held from August 8 to 14, 2023.
During the event, Pokémon fans from all over the world gathered for the World Game Convention, parade, and other events.
Tickets for this show are not available on the day of the event, and are only available to those who register in advance on the website and are selected in a drawing.
I was lucky enough to win and attend the show.
Admission was free.
When I entered the venue, the attendant gave me a Pokemon picnic sheet and a plastic bottle of water.
There were two types of seating options: on the grass or in the concrete bleachers.
I wanted to take pictures from a high vantage point, so I sat at the top of the concrete seats.
When the show started, Pikachu came in and I was surprised at the number of Pikachu.
Although not shown in the video, many Pikachu were placed for the audience sitting away from the stage.
I was worried that the drone might not be able to fly due to the strong winds caused by the typhoon that was passing through the Kansai region that day, but it flew safely.
It was the first time for me to see a drone formation show, and I thought it was wonderful that the drones were so stable and did not collide with each other.
