The ULTIMATE Budget Battle in Stockholm, Sweden | $100 vs $1,000

  1. Can't believe neither did the ABBA museum. For less than 300kr, it's great value if you like ABBA and / or Eurovision. The commuter ferry is great as well if you want a cheap, short ferry ride. Really nice city break.

  2. For the love of all that's holy, please do not send them to another archipelago, so we don't have to hear them try and pronounce that word again – it's like nails on a chaulkboard

  3. Berlin could be a great choice, especially if you want to add a "day trip" segment/challenge. Full disclosure, Berlin is my favorite place in the world. I did my first international trip with friends there, my first solo trip, I'm planning to got here or Christmas this year (2023) and I hope to own a flat there one day.

The first trip was middle of the road when it comes to budget, we overpaid for flights like a time-traveller went back to 2016 me specifically to warn us about 2020 to 2022, the rest of our trip was very much on the budget side because of the flight costs.

In 2019 I did my first ever solo trip, and accidentally spent over €150 on a dinner for 1, no appetizer, no dessert, needless to say that was definitely on the $1000/day budget.

Christmas this year might be a return to form, so to speak, to the budget spend, but this time, I know when, where, and how to spend it better.

Shoutout to Dresden for being a fantastic day trip with an overnight stay, and to Potsdam for being a great, low cost day trip from Berlin.

  4. Honestly I'd love to see what you'd do with this in Boston. Or maybe a little bit of a smaller destination, like Salem, Massachusetts? Which might be perfect for Halloween.

  5. Great video! Barcelona or Philadelphia. Both would be excellent choices. And transportation to PHL wouldn’t break the bank now that you’re stateside again.

  6. Is it just me or is this $1000 USD per day budget a bit over the top for most people?
