In this vlog, I visit the Jodd Fairs Night Market in Bangkok, Thailand. This is one of the biggest markets I have visited so far in Thailand to try some of the amazing Thai street food.
It was the King’s birthday, a public holiday in Thailand, which is why the market was so crowded!
I started my stroll with a mango smoothie, which was a bit pricey at 100 baht. ($2.88), but very tasty. There I met my first subscribers from Japan, haha.
Next, I tried to find some great street food. I didn’t go for the normal Thai dish, but got a German sausage with mustard. Great vendor and delicious sausage! Aroi.
Next I bought some chicken skewers for the road. The Thai lady selling them laughed so hard when I said “sticky rice” in Thai, ha.
After trying this little snack, I went in search of my main dish. And again. I had a khao soi. It was funny because I had to serve my own food. I wasn’t sure if I should do that or not. Khao Soi had a great creamy flavour.
After this delicious northern Thai meal, I tried an oyster for the first time in Thailand. It was filled with noodles, chilli and green herbs. With the oyster I also got the clam with cheese, which was fantastic.
I needed a place to sit to try it, so I bought a big bottle of coconut juice. The booth had a few seats, which was handy to rest and try these little snacks. There I was surprised by someone calling my name. Apparently he had been a subscriber of mine for a long time. So I took him the rest of the way through the market.
At the end of my market stroll, I got the famous Thai dessert, a mango sticky rice. One of my favourite desserts in Thailand.
Lovely market and great atmosphere!

Khao Soi is a local dish of the North. I live in Bangkok but i like to eat a lot because it's delicious is my favorite food Khao Soi is slightly spicy. I tend to add a lot of sugar when I eat.
