Oh gosh this was a fantastic video and I really really enjoyed watching it and so much beauty around everywhere you shared this content with us. So wonderful seeing both you Shinichi and Satoshi, have a blessed and beautiful rest of your day, sending love and hugs, Arigato!! ๐๐๐ค๐๐
loved this vid! I hope to experience this awesomeness someday! <3 Thank you both!
I love asakusa! We stayed at the hotel by that amusement park. I love that old style of that area. There was a brush (tawashi) store and a luggage store and used kimono store that we bought items from ๐
7:30 a good place for a ๐ ๐๐
Nice, canโt wait
I love Asakusa night ^^
Oh my goodness, this video was amazing ๐ thank you for sharing. I love all your channels and all your videos. It would never be boring if I were there. Iโm inside hiding from wildfire smoke. Iโm in Northern British Columbia Canada and our whole region is fighting wildfires. Youโve helped me escape ๐
I hope you tipped him well ๐
That's the Death Star of Onigiri ๐ and I thought the golden poo was a golden … ๐
Such a great video, guys. I really like the combo of your favorite sights, spots, and street foods! I laughed out loud when Satoshi said that Kurganeya on Hoppy Street felt like a cafe in France and you responded, Shinichi, "I guess so. It has a slightly different atmosphere, maybe more festive and…filled with drunk people." Hahaha! I love you two. ๐๐
Natsukashi ne!! I can still taste Kimura Ningyo Yaki. Thank you for putting this together and showing us the different places to eat. Thank you for pointing out the restrooms. And most of all, thank you for sharing the hot rickshaw drivers! ๐ You guys! That giant onigiri is no joke! I love love takana and okaka. My favorites in onigiri! Asakusa is definitely at the top of my places to revisit next year!! Thank youuuuu!
I'm staying near Sensoji next trip and love the area.
You both are beautiful ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ lots of love and hugs to you both ๐๐
Morning shinichi and satoshi love you โคโคโคโค
Is this a recycled video?
โคโคโคโคโคโคโค
I'm going there tomorrow. This is very helpful. ๐
8:10 we have werry same BRIDGE called RรMUSรK litrary 'noise maker' so i got your feeling..
Thanks!
Thats what I like about bean paste desserts, usually not overly sweet
Love to see the japan vids back on track!!!!! ๐๐ป๐
Kimono shop ๐ค ๐
I have fond memories of drinking Hoppy in a tiny Izakaya in Asakusa… The ratio of Shochu to Hoppy increased with each round ordered, until I was ready to sing some Karaoke (for like 150-200 yen or so per go) and tortured the ears of whoever had the misfortune of being near. Guess I will be getting weird looks too when I come back and order Soto-only Hoppy because I can't drink alcohol any more.
Omg that onigiri!
another reat video. thank you for all your insight into Japan.
loved Asakusawhen I went there for the first time almost 12 years ago but nowadays my recommendation would be to run away asap when you accidentaly get anywhere near sensoji …. way overcrowded sadly
Two of the best things I've experienced in Asakusa; Asahi building top floor lounge bar. Also the opportunity to wear authentic samurai armor. I don't remember the name for the place but try googling authentic experience in Asakusa and samurai.. ๐ค
Cool video and noe i have to look up that rollercoaster and theme park. Its crazy its been arounds since the 1850s pretty amazing.
What a fun day out! Love how you suggest folks visit back road, small places. I grew up with an amusement park a few towns over. Wonderful childhood memories. Thanks for putting names of things on the screen. I cannot always decern the words. Love to see a map also. PS – I love sweet bean paste. For years could not find it but now have a new market in area with bean paste buns in freezer section. Someday hope to make it myself. Think you did a vid on cooking it. Might look for that. Hello from sunny and warm Oregon.
Great video, and I enjoyed the GIANT ONIGIRI! ๐ I think, given that I'll stay there till night to see Asakusa illumimated, I'll get to finish the whole riceball!
I thought I would never take a rickshaw because I felt it was exploitation of people who could not make a living any other way. But the drivers you showed seemed to enjoy what they were doing – I guess it is a great way to stay fit. I just hope they can make a living that way. For their sake, I think it is appropriate, as was the original tradition to have only one passenger. I would not like to see a pair (or more?) of large tourists wanting a ride.
I love this video and your recommendations! I enjoyed my time there with all the good food when I was there 6 yrs ago. Canโt wait to go back!
Do we have to tip the rickshaw guy or is that not accepted too?
I love rickshaw rides have done it twice in Asakusa but seems so expensive now at least for one person.
0.8% alcohol… Is that basically kombucha at that point?
I always make sure NOT to watch your videos while hungry. ๐ It still doesn't work! Glad to see Satoshi is feeling better too!๐๐พ๐ฟ
Love all the channels and new store merchandise. โค๐โค๐ but pretty please make Justin merch too. Love and Hugs. Best wishes and AwEsOmE videos.
I love Satoshi's love of trains
