Hakuba to Shinjuku Train Journey – Japan Railways East – E257 [HDR]

Time for a bit of a change and a bit of an experiment. Here is a trip report from a lovely train ride from Hakuba (where I was skiing), to Tokyo. It’s a very scenic route and a lovely way to travel.

It is shot using an app that records in HDR, I’d love to hear your feedback on this. For the tech minded I should add that this isn’t ‘proper’ HDR, the kind that TV makers and content providers (including youtube) are working on rolling out at the moment.

Don’t worry if you prefer my trips by air – I’m editing down a trip in BA Business Class on a 787 Dreamliner and hope to have this up shortly.
