We traveled Japan for 1 month and we only carried a week’s worth of clothes with us. So we had to wash our clothes often.
Finding a washing machine in Japan is not a problem at all. In fact, every hotel that we stayed at in the whole duration of our Japan trip all had a washing machine available for guest use.
