In this episode of TSL Travels, we explored the beautiful cityscape of Hokkaido, Sapporo City with a $50 and $500 budget!

Watch as we devoured fresh seafood, soaked ourselves in the onsen, conquered skiing at the top of the mountains, and more.

  1. curious abt what the other tsl do! Do they have their own youtube channel ?

  2. Wah so fancy. I haven’t been to Japan so this looks nice. Also Reiner looks good here.

  3. I got stuck on the hill once too I just sat down and slid down the entire way and there were a bunch of kids half my age that were trying to teach me but I didn’t understand cause they were speaking japanese

  4. Soaking in Outdoor onsen looking at snow cap mountains is the best feeling… after that drink cold sake

  5. Lesson learnt:
    1) bring extra charger esp in cold weather. Cold temp drains battery fast.
    2) try having a professional guide if u r trying snow activities for the first time. It's super dangerous to accidentally slide into advanced zone when u r beginner.
    3) always good to learn a few useful phrases when in foreign land. We have been taking everything for granted jus cos we know English and get too complacent to understand a new language. Hokkaido isn't a city, less people are proficient in English and Google translate sometimes isn't the best option.

  6. This video is honestly much better than the Tokyo/Osaka travels. Great footages and edits.

  7. It's disappointing that you guys did a video on all the typical Tourist traps while marketing it as some honest/local guided tour.

If you are paid to advertise these places there nothing wrong with that, just go ahead. But dont do false information like this as if you are actually introducing good places.

Soup Curry S doesnt hold a candle to Suage Soup Curry. That's the blandest soup curry I have ever seen. That Shiawase parfait place is terrible. Go read the reviews before falling for these guys' marketing tricks. Tanukikoji is nothing but another massive tourist trap. Donburi Chaya is another famous tourist trap and is run by foreigners. Their seafood is not exactly fresh. Ramen yokocho is another famous tourist trap spot. These people who say miso ramen there is nice either never had Tonkotsu ramen before/ has bland unrefined tastebud/ or paid to say so. There are so many things wrong with this video!

What a dishonest video! 😡 Sorry but this made me unable to trust any of TSL's recommendations

Last but not least, dont trust a Singaporean's tastebuds. They are used to bland food and almost anything tastes good to them 😑
