Part Three of our two week stint in Japan. After braving the rain in Hakone, we were on a bullet train heading west towards Osaka. We’d have three days in which to soak up the city’s unique atmosphere and culinary delights. Needless to say, much food was eaten, drink was drunk and we still managed to cram in a lot of walking.
I’m pretty sure I spend the whole video calling “Dotonbori” “Dontonbori” … but, it is what it is, and I find doing the voiceover sections traumatic to record, so we’ll all have to live with it.
The Cross Hotel:
Functional, but the right fit for the location. We stayed here.

Osaka Castle:
A really great walk and, although not our favourite castle, a fine castle set in a beautiful park.

Fanny Mae (Rolling Stones Bar):
The owner was fantastic – and he did give us a top food recommendation.
