If you’re interested in Japanese beer and/or the history of Sapporo and Hokkaido, the Sapporo Beer Museum would be a good place to visit. It is located next to the Sapporo Beer Garden Restaurant, so you could first go and see the Sapporo Beer Museum, then go and have the famous all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink Genghis Khan BBQ. There is also beer tasting on the first floor of the museum building, the end of the museum takes you right into the beer-tasting area. The museum’s admission is free but you have to pay if you want to do some beer tasting.
