  1. It's the Philippines and Mexico that really splurge for parties. 250 years of shared culture, history and friendship as we were governed by Mexico during Spanish time so we share so many things in common.

  2. Girl, 6 inch heel with 2 inch platform? I’m dead, but Dolls Kill. You look super cute. Life in plastic looks fantastic on you.

  3. My 70th birthday is at the end of the month. My wife wants to through a big party for me. I say "NO NO NO I only want a small party". But when a Filipina makes up her mind there is no changing it. LOL!

  5. Mike, I agree with you, this is really overwhelming. If I was a kid I'd probably be petrified. Of course I'm also a reformed ex-introvert.
But in later years, I'd get together with probably a handful of friends, As you suggested and go to dinner and hang out together.

  8. Usually Filipinos have big parties every 1st, 7th birthday and debuts (18th for Girls and 21st bday for Boys), this family however must be rich to celebrate their child’s bday every year this big.

  9. Nice vlog about themed party. It’s a good idea if it not too expensive to follow the theme. Off topic How is your new home working so far? Did you have to pay 3 months in advance? In Vancouver our rules are 1st month and half a month rent for damage deposit and that’s it. Since you signed a contract then the landlord has to follow the rules as well. My in laws did not have a cot with a renter and she has not paid for a few months. Even with no contract it’s still a pain for them to kick the renter out…..

    Thanks

  10. Hi Mike. I am Filipino and currently living in Canada. I kinda realized the difference. Most people from the Philippines can afford to have helpers to do the chores inside the house(clean the house, cooking, laundry, etc) while People in the western world has no one to do the chores for them. At the end of a working day, i could say Filipinos can afford to have the time to attend for parties like these compared to people abroad — they have so much on their plate in terms of running the house, family, groceries etc.. For Filipinos, they would still have the energy even for coffee with friends after work because they would know that when they get home, somebody has already cooked for them or do laundry, etc. Sadly, we can’t afford that here. It will even take months for us just to do the planning to have coffee dates with friends since everyone is so busy. That’s why i always look forward when I go back home for vacation because I don’t have to do anything and just simply enjoy and not having to worry about anything. ☺️ always watching your vlog. 😉

  11. Bianca check that vbloger cartoon character . Alodia Gosingfiao , she became famous you can be like her , you have pretty face

  12. Hi guys!! Wow Bianca looks soo pretty! Glad you guys enjoyed the birthday themed party! 💗i can't wait til you guys come over to my wedding next year in Angeles city (sorta gonna be in Sam Fernando)🙏 the theme of it is gonna be a mixture of gothic and baroque!

  13. only Mcdonald's party for Bianca? she has to do a Jollibee party on her birthday

  14. " For the kids milk tea
For the adults milk tea with AlCOhol.
No one is going home without being DrUuUuUnk."
    That phrase was so funny.

Bianca, you looked awesome! BTW I need your shoes! What size are you again in shoes and wear did you get them/what brand were they or did you DIY them?

I like how organized it was.
Table #(x) group photo, then buffet. I loved to see all that .

My God daughter, (whom I miss dearly. Her mother is a snot bag and wouldn't bring her around anyone who was even barely associated with the girl's father. That whole debacle would be a story i'd tell in the DM's)

she's half Puerto Rican and for awhile when she was around the age of Brielle, would have what I would call close to this type of party just a little smaller. As she got older this type of party… & after her patents divorced just didn't happen anymore. I'm not sure the way Filipinos in the Philippines view Sweet 16 or Sweet 15, but those of Latino heritage have very elaborate parties. Mike and Bianca look up "Quinceñera" and you'll see what I'm talking about. I participated on one for my friend when I was 17 and it was amazing. Just picture wedding without a groom. We had a choreographed dance & everything. A huge buffet of Puerto Rican food. If you guys like Lechon you'd love Pernil (when you guys plan a trip way in the future to come to Orlando bring a recipe for lechon and I'll get some Pernil from a restaurant and we'll compare. Just like in Philippines my door is always open to you guys) Bianca you want to wear a ballgown, that would be a party you wouldn't look out of place in one. It's worth the look up. Mike you should of dressed up to be Ken 2.0. You know you're attractive you could play the role. 😊

I'm glad the kids had a great time and Miss Brielle Barbie looked so cute.

Oh I forgot to tell everyone that my oldest niece is 21 and found out she's pregnant for the 1st time… and she's having twins. Her due date is New Years day 2024. Let's see if she can hold the little boogers in that long. Just hoping for healthy babies and my niece pulls through alright. She's a diabetic so 🤞🏻🙏🏻 her baby shower is in September. Her mother is planning it… this should be funny. Because my sister couldn't even plan her own wedding right. Before we all arrived at the reception people just started hacking into the buffet and my sister and her "husband" (there's horror stories I can tell in the DMs believe me. It fuels me to get my ass away from here even more than the fascist governor in this state.) Didn't even eat at their own wedding because they we that disgusted with how people acted. Then half the guests didn't show after I called them 5 days before to double check and confirm the were coming so we had enough food. We ended up giving a lot of it to a local place that hands out meals to hungry and homeless people and then the people that gorged themselves got pissed off because they wanted doggie bags. They spent over $10k to get a fiasco.

Now after ranting over my experiences I hope you guys get invited to a Filipino wedding. I am very curious the similarities and the differences.

Love you guys ❤ and thanks for another amazing video.

  15. Familiar place…we been there may onwards…..we visit our parents….. family reunion…..😅

  16. Ken sitting on his own, in my perspective you are absolutely correct and I could count guests on one hand, amazing party, wow haven't heard baa baa black sheep in a very long time especially in the political correctness society we live in now, The heels Bianca is wearing would do Gene Simmons from KISS proud

  17. It's also a social gathering for the more upper class families. See and be seen sort of thing…

  18. That Barbie outfit Bianca has on reminds me of an XXX video that was big back in the 1980s — "Barbie Does Dallas".
