The latest V-Strom is all new. Suzuki have ditched the lovely 650 V-twin engine in favor of an 800cc, 270-degree, parallel twin. Grunty motor and great suspension and electronics keep the Strom level with the competition – Yamaha T7, the KTM 890, and the Husqvarna Nordern (all of which come in 2 levels of spec), then the Aprilia Tuareg, the CFMoto 800MT, the various versions of the BMW 800GS, the new Honda 750 Transalp, this Suzuki, and then probably the most road-oriented, my NC750x. Phew! And I’ve probably left some out. This class is hot at the moment.
