Which city is better for first time visitors to the USA: Los Angeles or New York City? LA and NYC are two of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. Both cities offer a wide variety of attractions, from amazing food to world-class entertainment to vibrant nightlife. However, there are also some key differences between the two cities that may make one a better choice for your trip than the other. So if you can only visit one, Los Angeles or New York City, which should it be?

Thank you for this video! NYC & LA always compared by everyone as the largest & 2nd largest cities in the USA repectively. I'll be re-visiting New York City again in a few weeks after 2 years, & will be re-visiting Los Angeles again later in the Summer after 9 years. I'm personally a California guy since I've always loved visiting California, but NYC is always a classic city with stuff to see/do/eat, though LA/California has better weather, food, beaches, & landscapes. Much love to both East & West Coasts!

Both!
The answer is Detroit to the question in the headline.
LA Off Course ❤️❤️
They're totally different. You have to see both. So just depends on which you want to see first.
Never had an issue with JFK or LaGuardia.
LA all the way!!!
Washington DC
Actually, I’ve never been to LA, but to NYC many times
I have visited each numerous times. New York is a required bucket list item for everyone. No debate.
On the other hand, I truly struggle to find anything memorable to do in L.A.. When I must go there, I watch cable in the hotel room.
In the end, I have amazing vivid lifelong memories of New York. Broadway, Times Square, Chinatown, Grand Central, Empire State Bldg, Wall Street, the ferry, Circle Cruise, the midtown blocks like the Diamond District and many others. L.A.? I saw the sidewalk handprints.
Keep in mind that if your timing coincides with the next falsely labelled health "emergency", that during this last swindle, New York was possibly even worse than L.A. in terms of enslavement of people that didn't take the heart damaging shot. (The thing that they called a "vaccine.") On the other hand, if you're from abroad, you probably will have already been forced to take an injection in order to go anywhere in the U.S. in the first place, so it may be a foregone lament for those who are victims to that atrocity.
Thank you for your work! I am from Europe and I visited NY a few years ago. We travel a lot and NY was the only city were we witnessed a robbery, in the street , 5 meters away, in the middle of the day, near Brooklyn Bridge.
For me and my family security is most important. Pizza or hot dog, 300 USD hotel or 200 USD… we can find a solution but with a knife near my throat is something else!
As a turist seeing a police officer in uniform on the street is a good thing, no matter the country. I understand Americans do not like police in NY or LA. It is your choice, and I respect that. As a turist I am not allowed to carry a gun so I have to trust the local enforcement agencies. 😂 I used internet to put on Google maps the dangerous places in LA and it seems that only in the hotel I would be somewhat safe and in Beverly Hills but if I could use a helicopter to get there!
NYC is a cesspool. I live in CT and I have been to LA way more because you couldn't pay me to spend a day in NYC. LA has better weather, more things to do, and is not as crowded.
Is this parody?
I live in Los Angeles but I have family in New York .. if you want entertainment like Roller Coasters 🎢 theme park stuff come to L.A. but if you want to visit somewhere that’s unlike anything else you’ve experienced go to New York City …. It feels like you’re on a another planet for reals .. so surreal.. I love New York City
New York City hands down my second home I can’t wait to get back there in December for the fourth time
Maybe I have a lot of patience or I feel like I know what I’m getting myself into but I don’t mind delays and maybe I’m used to traffic but I’ve been to JFK and LAX and they’re cool .. maybe I’m just familiar wit them .. I’ve been to Florida.. Phoenix.. Atlanta.. and other big airports and don’t mind them either 😂
Maybe because I’m from LA but I feel like Disneyland.. Universal Studios.. Six Flags.. Beaches.. you can find anywhere else .. go to Florida for example.. but Where else are you gonna find the World Trade Center 🏙️ and the Statue of Liberty🗽? 🤷🏻♂️
LA might have way better weather but there’s nothing like being in New York City in the snow for Xmas and/or New Years
GREAT VIDEO
I moved to LA from the east coast 5 years ago and absolutely love it. The weather, the beach, the night life and entertainment. There’s also so many cool unique day trip experiences cool cities, the desert, beaches, snow skiing, hiking.
I was today years old when I learned the correct pronunciation for Marriott. 🤓🤓
Great content Chris!! East coaster here who just did San Diego to San Francisco…love going to both places (nyc and la) for all of these reasons. The tie is accurate. Couldn’t have done the trip without your channel though.
