While going to the Bicol region, saw a sign that says for light vehicles. Tried this Gumaca Bypass Road which is approximately around 12km of hilly terrain. From Villa Arcaya to Panikihan in Gumaca it bypass the poblacion or town center of Gumaca. I am not sure if it is safe during night time to pass here.

The area is ahon galore!

  7. "I am not sure about the security of the place during night time."

Me: Thinking of creatures from Shake, Rattle, & Roll and Magandang Gabi, Bayan cinematic universe.

  8. Mukhang kailangan naka driving lights ako pag gabi dito at naka 1911A1 na may 50rounds o kaya C4 pag sinakay ng holdup 😄😄😄. Na tetemp na naman ako mag road trip pa Visayas nito 😁😁😁.

  9. 4:28 Now I see why it is still passable for light vehicles.

"I am not sure if it is safe during night time to pass here."
Me: Well, we have to wait until the concrete pours in, then the electric poles and lights come by. Like Cavite's East-West Road, or Remulla Highway/Governor's Drive in the past, it'll take some time.

    12:04 The best view southbound.

  10. A bypass road should be the shortest and safest alternative road without going to the town proper. Pero itong Gumaca bypass road is probably the worst and most unsafe one. Pinagkaperahan lang ito ng mga politiko sa Quezon at land speculators. Marami ng naaksidente dito.

  11. Why some portion of the highway have wider lane? I notice also there are no ditches or open channel after the shoulder.

  12. This bypass road is really a big help for us motorists to be able to make our travel to Bicol fast and to skip the traffic at the Gumaca proper. Hoping that the whole stretch would be properly concreted and asphalted for better and comfortable ride.

  13. Nice. Sa hometown namin yan. Kaso sobrang ahunin nga. Baka naman di kayanin ng mga loaded na truck na pangunahing target sana na di na dumaan sa bayan. hehe

  14. Halos wala masyado changes compared dun sa napanood ko na local motorcycle vlogger sa area a few months back.

  15. nakadaan ako ng gabi dyn last month di na mauulit bale northbound na pauwi na sa lucena, walang ilaw lubak na daan maputik walang bahay for the next 5-7mins, wala kang makakasalubong o makakasabay na sasakyan, anytime tlga pwede may pumara sayo na NPA goodluck sa bypass na yan haha

  16. dumaan ako dyan pauwi galing bicol last April. sobrang daming rough road compared sa video mo. may part nga dyan na steep incline/decline pag nagkamali ka aksidente aabutin mo. Drive safe Sir Dim. 🙏

  17. Now Manny Bonoan is the DPWH Secretary, I hope he sees the Gumaca Bypass Road and tell the contractor to finish the project or face blacklisting.

  18. Hope na may MGA Bago pang ride in the Philippines Isa Ako sa Taga hanga Mr Dimitri V. Ng Pinoy joyride… Love this God bless .. more more pa kakaaliw.. para na din naka pasyal sa ibat IBANG Lugar dito sa pilipinas….

  19. It has some nice coconut plantation sceneries at background and all but I wished this road could have been better, wider, and at least some road safety lights, very dangerous particularly at night which is an ideal hotspot for accidents and criminal activites.

  20. Wow thanks for this info! My father was once the RTC judge there in Gumaca a few years back. He will be pleased to know about this or maybe he knows already heheh….nice video….maganda sa mga business owners/plantation owners to distribute their products.
