Today we are leaving Osaka behind and heading to Tokyo via the Shinkansen (bullet train). Traveling at 250km per hour it took just 3 hours and 15 minutes to make the 500km trip. Oh how I wish we had this type of transport in Australia.
After checking in to our hotel APA Tokyo Shiomi-Ekimae for the next week, we went for a very short 7 minute train ride to the Ikspiari shopping mall which is right next to the Disney Resorts where we got our first glimpse of Disney magic. Only a couple more days and we will be fully immersed in that magic π
Dinner was at the Rainforest Cafe which is a fully immersive restaurant that has animatronic elephants and an ape with a thunder and lighting show that sets all the animals off. The food was delicious and the cocktails divine.
