Hakodate is an interesting city that has many attractions. Our adventure took us to the viewing platform of Mt Hakodate Observatory where we took in the City Views. From late afternoon the views of the city lights with the busy hustle of the night travellers all wanting to get that perfect picture of the city.
Add in the Morning Markets to explore including the stroll around the Bay Area. Watch out for those hungry and very cranky crows! Those warning signs are not just for your holiday pictures.
It’s not that hard to jump on the local buses to go anywhere, just make sure you have those stops identified as it’s a big city. The night illumination of the streets only seen in winter is special.
In the Bay Area market you got to just love the vibrant store keepers selling local caught seafood (Real or Playful).
