Mushima is one of the inhabited islands of the Kasaoka Islands in the Seto Inland Sea in Japan, and is located at the southernmost point of Okayama Prefecture.
Mushima is a small island with a circumference of 4.5 km, an area of 1 km2, an altitude of 185 m, and a population of less than 100 people.

The Mushima Lighthouse, located on a hill in the south, is the oldest lighthouse in Okayama Prefecture.
Off the coast of Mushima is a strait with a fast tide, and the Mushima Lighthouse was installed in 1922 to ensure the safety of navigation.
Mushima Lighthouse has been watching over the safety of this strait for 100 years.

    六島（むしま）は、瀬戸内海にある笠岡諸島の有人島のひとつで、岡山県の最南端に位置します。
    周囲4.5㎞、面積1km2、標高185m、人口100人未満の小さな島です。

    南の丘の上に設置されている六島灯台は岡山県で最古の灯台です。

    六島沖は潮の流れの速い海峡で、航行の安全を確保する為に1922年（大正11年）に六島灯台が設置されました。
