“I’m a salaried worker living in Kyoto. My goals are to document my round-the-world journey and share the everyday scenery of Kyoto and Japan, hoping to make more people fall in love with Japan. The first half of the day was spent traveling from the downtown area of Kyoto, around Karasuma Shijo, to Nishikyo Ward. The second half involved traveling from Ukyo Ward’s Uzumasa in the evening to Kamigyo Ward’s Horikawa Marutamachi.
The weather was delightful today, and since it was a weekday, both daytime and nighttime travel went relatively smoothly.
Uzumasa is famous as a tourist spot. However, since it was February, there weren’t too many tourists around.
I also wanted to visit the nearby Arashiyama.
