◆Venice, Italy

◆I’m a Japanese train enthusiast and stayed in Europe for about a month this summer.
This time I got to visit many European countries and ride their unique trains.

  1. I visited Venice in early January last year and I will never again visit during summer or the more touristy months. Sure it was cold, but still beautiful, and I had the most magical time ❄️✨✨

  2. Worst time to visit Europe is late June-August, try May or September/October, weather is still great but the crowds have thinned out a bit.

  3. If you are looking to travel around the world, here is a great opportunity, the link is in my channel

  4. You have to admire the Venetians. Anywhere else, people would look at a half-submerged city, say "hey, this place hasn't been built properly," and find a way to drain it, but in Venice they just say "what? it's supposed to be like that" and get some boats.

Also, I don't like the looks of those seagulls. They look like they would absolutely eat a baby if they thought they could get away with it.

  5. I also visited Venice in August back in 2009. The city was beautiful, but the heat was intense, and theres very little shade. Luckily it cools down at night. The best way to see as much of the city as you can in a short period of time is by the water bus, its quick, stops at all the important areas and fairly cheap (though it seems prices have gone up since I've been there).

If they do implement an admission fee, it's worth it, the city is so beautiful, and if the fee goes into preservation or new infrastructure, than that would be good. If you visit though, be prepared to do a lot of walking and step climbing. This city is not handicapped accessible at all, and even riding a bike is impractical.

Also, I guess Cicadas can be found everywhere, we have them in the USA too.

  6. Thanks for watching as always!

  7. I'm italian, please sorry for the expensive gelato. Venezia is also known as the most expensive city in Italy. In touristic places prices are higher. A normal gelato is usually 2 euros, and they give you more than what you show in this video.
    Greetings from Tuscany ❤

  8. Yes, one should pay entrance fee in the future, but to protect such a cultural heritage, I would pay it, wouldn't you? no big ocean steamers are allowed to enter the lagoon to protect Venice, I was there myself and with this entry it should be so that this extreme mass tourism is stopped. something like Venice has to be preserved. Yes, the ice cream at Mamma Mia is super delicious, everything is homemade there. and as I see you also did a lagoon tour, we did too, so you can see more of Venice 😉
