Yesterday, I took you for a ride-along from Henza Island to Naha. In the interest of full disclosure, I confess that I drove down there on a Wednesday only to discover that Shikina-en Royal Gardens is closed on Wednesday!!
But that day wasn’t a total loss. As long as I was in Naha, I went over to check out the restoration progress at Shuri-jo. I’ll post that video soon.
Meanwhile, here’s an opportunity to visit and to learn many facts about the royal second home. It’s a beautifully crafted garden with a 14-room single story “palace” that anyone would be proud to call their home.
