These SCAMS are relentless in this country I was only here for one day and we encountered countless scammers, hustlers and touts. A country with an incredible history and amazing people but unfortunately a huge issue with scammers. This is Morocco

Like this video if you hate scammers. It helps the video grow to expose these people 👍 I witnessed innocent old couples fall for these scams and pay huge amounts to these people 💀
A guy pulled a knife on me and my girlfriend at the time on the first day of our visit lol all because I didn’t want to give him money for pointing the right direction to a restaurant. Really let’s down a beautiful country
You can get scammed everywhere In the world . Even In Japan they have Yakuza. I’m Canadian you get scummed in Canada. it’s part of humain nature. I’m sorry you get a bad experience. Going to Morocco you have to be patient and open minded and careful
Literally just got back to the UK from Morocco. 4 nights in Agadir, 1 night in Marrakech. Agadir was very safe. Marrakech I had to deal with the taxi scam, but had numerous scams attempted on me (actually had to pay the taxi scam to get out of a situation where a group of teenage lads refused to leave me alone after I refused their 'guide' offer). Will never ever go back to Marrakech. Would go to Agadir, but just for the sun and pool etc.
Loved your honest experience mate! it'll help Moroccan authorities combat scammers.
You know: there always will be good & bad folks, don't let this stop you from exploring.
Respect & Morocco is your second home & welcome back anytime♥
6:43 She forced you? may be but you look happy and smiling in the video
Hi guys, thank you for the great video. I can confirm that absolutely everything you said is 100% true. My husband is Moroccan (we live in Europe) and we visit there often. We take trips to different parts of the country. The snake scam in Marrakesh was the biggest one we’ve experienced and it got really dark. Guy caught me holding a phone, even thought I wasn’t recording or taking photos. As you said, who wants to take picture of abused snakes or monkeys?? Anyway, those bustards tried to grab a phone of my hand if we didn’t pay for the ‘photos taken’. My husband ended up having huge fight with them to the point that I got really scared that a street fight will break. It was us against them and there are many of ‘them’ as they all work together and some share profits together. Anyway, my husband called for the police. The police station is just by one of the ends of the Jemaa-el-Fnaa.I was truly shitting myself, I couldn’t understand what was being said and I ended up crying. The police issued a warning to the snake ‘scammers’ and told them to be more respectful of the tourists… but based on your story I gather this is happening every single day. Nobody should fall for that. But if you don’t know the language, don’t know how to involve the police – who don’t speak English either – how can you win?
Cat is the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen!
Definitely not going there …. Thx for sharing Ben
People pay $3 to $4 for coffee in their countries and they complain for paying $1 in Morocco , the culture is different u get a chance to bargain if u don’t know that than u should not be a traveler or blogger. 🤷🏻♂️
Morocco is the only country I would NEVER return to. Way too intense. People do not leave you alone.
I was in Marrakech in 2010 and I asked a kid in a souk the way back to the main square. Follow me he said….turned about 4 corners and was back at the square. 30 seconds tops! He held out his hand asking for money so I gave him a couple of dirham. He looked at it and said it wasn't enough and wanted more….I told him to piss off the little shit!
I wouldn't go back either…..mind you I had some nice tagines!
Dear millennials – so because (a) people tried to do a Henna drawing on your hand (b) tell you that the path is closed (c) taxi drivers don't use a meter (d) menu prices alter upon arrival in Marrakesh – the biggest tourist trap the country (e) snake charmers require money you are NEVER EVER going back to the country !!!! Please just stay in Britain and do your moaning there – international travel is clearly wasted on you two.
You can read cheapness on your face of course every penny you’re asked to spend seems like a scam
I'm sorry that you had such an unpleasant experience. It seems that the impact of being scammed outweigh the positive aspects of the trip. Such behaviour is really shameful. It's a disgrace that the government works hard to promote tourism, whereas those stupid scams spoil the country's reputation. I hope you won't be scarred for life and that you'll feel like visiting Morocco again. More efforts should be made to crack down on these scammers. Some advice to potential visitors: – Firmly reject 'guide' offers. – Say 'no, thanks' when you are being hassled. – When you take a taxi, ask the driver to use the meter. – If you're annoyed , talk to a police officer. There should be police stations in areas that attract tourists.
I’m glad I’m 6’4 – I’ve been all over the globe and no one ever gives me shit.
Your girl is 🔥
Scammers are every where I was scamed in London and in Ireland & cab to london over charged me but that will not stop me from visiting that's what you should saying because its the Truth
I'm from Morocco, and there is no need to sugar coat things. Self-awareness is not that great here, you will stumble across many people functionning mainly on their primal/animal instincts and this manifest through alot of things, one of them are the scammers who get abusive when you refuse their garbage service. Responding to them in a civilized manner will only invite them to push further, until you get aggressive in away that match their understanding, it can range from an aggressive gazing to yelling and insulting…god forbid if you show any signs weakness or shyness which they will read as submission and invitation to dominate (yeah, just like animals). But things could have gotten worse for you if you were not tourists, they are stupid but they know very well that if they get sued by a tourist, they are screwed.
The government won't do much to prevent their interactions with tourists, but its very rigid and punishing if they were put under a spotlight of a complain from a tourist.
yes exactly
thats why i dont wanna come back to morocco
same in kenya , dominican republic and egypt
i have been to numerous countries and got my own vlogging channel

Just got back from a 10-day trip in Morocco. Was an absolutely exhausting adventure. A country that has a such a jarring mix of beauty and depravity (only regarding the scammers). An experience that has to be lived to believed. The scammers singlehandedly tainted an otherwise gorgeous country and visit. Luckily didn't get absolutely fleeced by them, but damn they're cunning. Lowlifes, downright nasty when things don't go there way like you said. So sad it gives the normally lovely locals a bad look.
😂😂😂😂😂 you are just easy to scam bro 😂 I have been doing lot of traveling I would never let this scams happen to me anywhere in the world
No one likes the british anyway
I would not condemn an entire country because of some bad experiences in certain cities of Morocco. Fes is a no go area, it’s incredibly dangerous, severely impoverished and filled with a high number of scammers, the people of Fes have a really bad reputation in Morocco, Marrakech also but it’s not as bad as Fes.
The original people of Fes have migrated away from the city. The best places to visit in Morocco is the north.
In India hustling and scam is a profession
Yh we fell for 4/5 scams on the first day we came here. This man was so creepy and followed us maybe for two hours and finally ran off after saying hed kill us
