This temple holds the fire ceremony every morning unlike other temples that hold it just once a month. The location is great too, near the entrance to Okunin Cementery (check our other video on the sights of Koyasan, featuring Okunin cementery). The staff working at the temple can speak some english so don’t worry if you don’t speak Japanese. Oh and I forgot to mention in the video: the bathrooms are shared, as well as the shower (in such a peaceful environment there is no need to be shy!) The place is clean and neat, don’t worry about that either.
