Did you know that there are more than 100 varieties of cherry blossoms in Japan?
On this episode, we’ll witness one of the earliest blooming cherry blossoms called Kawazu-zakura which blooms in February in Minami Izu town, a 2.5-hour train ride from Tokyo on the Izu Kyuko Line.
About 800 cherry trees are in full bloom over a distance of 4km/2.5miles along the Aono River. Let’s walk through an endless Sakura tunnel.
