Hey everyone!
So excited about this episode because its the START of our Japan trip in this travel series! Transportation in Japan is actually pretty straight forward, especially when you are using google maps BUT because its so crowded and signs are literally EVERYWHERE, it can be pretty overwhelming & stressful at the beginning! We’ve decided to start our Japan trip in Osaka for the first leg of our trip! I’ve never stayed in Osaka for long, so it’ll be nice to check it out more this time around!
If you are planning to travel to multiple parts of Japan, I highly suggest getting the JR Pass. The JR Pass needs to be ordered in advance online, either on their direct website OR on Klook and by the time you get to the airport, you can just pick it up and grab your tix for the trip! I’ll include the links down below! They have passes for 7,14 or 21 days! Keep in mind the JR Pass works for the JR Bullet trains and limited JR lines, so it won’t work for ALL transit lines. You will still have to pay extra for certain transit lines, so look into getting a SUICA card.

Places we mentioned in this episode:
1) Hotel Nikko Osaka – https://goo.gl/maps/XVsHuRgYtPbVH8Br9
GREAT location & right above the train station so super convenient! It’s also only STEPS away from the shopping district. I was actually VERY impressed by our room size. All previous hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan is usually VERY small!

Hi Jess, Love it when the subway is right under the hotel you're staying. Makes it so easy to get around. The JR Pass is such a great deal when traveling. on the Shinkansen. Definitely get more than you're money's worth with the Pass. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Hey Jess! Love your videos! May I ask what camera you use for filming? Thank you!
