Shikoku is the smallest of Japan’s four main islands. It’s bordered on the north by the Seto Inland Sea, and the south by the Pacific Ocean. The island is home to Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest mountain in western Japan, and a circular pilgrimage trail visiting 88 Buddhist temples. The rivers and mountains of Shikoku make it an ideal destination for adventure travel.
