Refreshing trip in Echigo-Yuzawa, Niigata Japan. Tasting delicious Hegi Soba and Sake. Kiyotsu Kyo is one of three major valleys in Japan.
You can get there by Shinkansen (super express) getting off at Echigo-Yuzawa station. It takes only 1.5 hours from Tokyo station instead of 3 hours by car.
Niigata is the center of production of rice and Sake. Hegi Soba is the local food in Niigata. You gotta try!
