Fushimi Inari is a MUST VISIT if you’re traveling in Kyoto. At the base there is a shinto shrine with a path leading up to mount Inari. As you can see, there are tons of steps and tens of thousands of beautiful gates along the way. There are also other small gems such as mini shrines, restaurants, gift shops, bamboo forests, and view points. The view at the too isn’t exactly amazing, but the journey there will be.
We arrived around 11am and it really wasnβt that crowded! Of course, irs always better to go as early as possivle.
