Took a trip to Vancouver’s chinatown to try out some of the best Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodian , and asian food Canada has to offer. We had the famous chicken wings at Phnom Penh, sushi at Miku, and Izakaya at Guu Garlic on Robson Street. We also came to visit @TimLeeLetsGo in his hometown to try much more food throughout Vancouver, so stay tuned for the Vancouver food series!

  1. I love that you and Leah visited Vancouver. You’ve got to return in the warmth of the summer as there’s so much to see and do. I love walking Robson Street as there are great restaurants. Next time try out CinCin on Robson St….a delicious Italian ristorante. The Boathouse at Kits Beach has a great view as does Seasons in the Park in world famous Queen Elizabeth Park. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

  2. That was nicely done! So much good Vietnamese in Vancouver's Chinatown. Say Hi to Leah and I hope she enjoyed herself, too!

  3. Price point info about Phnom Penh restaurant was good. It might help if you mention the number if $ signs each of restaurants you visit are rated in Google Maps, so viewers can compare with their own experiences. Try places in Chinatown & Koreatown in Flushing, Queens, New York City. They are a bit less expensive than in Manhattan. Hotels in Flushing are also a bit less expensive. Just avoid booking when US Open tennis tournament is going on or NY Mets baseball team is playing at home.

  4. So amazing πŸ‘ 😍. It so pretty there. The food looked so freaking good. It would be my seafood paradise πŸ˜‹

  5. Oh no, Dan committed the nigiri eating sin of two bites! Lol. The sushi at that place does look tasty, will have to get some when I'm in Vancouver.

  6. Looks like you had a delicious time in Vancouver. Thanks for the recommendations. πŸ‘

  7. Can’t wait for you to try our famous BBQ Pork bun whenever you come done to NYC. Wow first time really can you speak and ordering in Vietnamese dope. The chicken looks so good. I thought you were mixed but then I just figured you were Vietnamese lol. Are usually get the beef cube. Too bad I don’t eat sushi but it looks good. Great video

  9. Actually, Mi Kho Nam Vang is a Chinese dish brought over by the Teochew (aka Chaozhou) immigrants who settled in Southeast Asia.
The Japanese dishes you ordered looked spectacular! Toronto has great Asian eats too. Toronto has 6 Chinatowns!

  10. I recommend going back to Vancouver and trying the Asian food in Richmond. The Richmond Night Market during the summer is amazing. Also biking around Stanley Park is a must.

  11. The place’s looks great and the food is fresh, you talk very open to where everyone can understand what you’re talking about, you go in to who the food tastes and who it’s been cooked, and about who the ingredients make the food tastes.and it’s great you talk about who the dishes ,is so delicious.
