The world’s first Ramen-themed museum, Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum is a one-stop place to enjoy the different flavors of ramen noodles from renowned shops across Japan.

It is conveniently located just 50 minutes away from Shinjuku by train, and only 18 minutes away from Tokyo station by Shinkansen bullet train.

Famous ramen restaurants from Hokkaido, the northern part of Japan, to Kyushu, the southern part of Japan, line up in a street-scape replication of Japan in the 1950s, nostalgic to the elderly and fresh to the eyes of the young.

It’s like stepping into a movie set of the Showa period, also known as Japan’s Golden Age.

Kateko Cafe – a coffee shop where you can enjoy classic Showa sweets such as old-fashioned handmade pudding, cream soda, parfait, and beverages.

Dagashiya – a shop filled with cheap candies of various colors, junk food, sodas, and toys with fun packaging that attracts kids.

Izakaya Ryoji – a Japanese bar where you can enjoy a variety of food and drinks from Okinawa.
