Mt.Ue’s Rice Terrace
Terraced rice fields of Ueyama (Nukita) are chosen as one of the ‘100 Most Beautiful Terraced Rice Fields in Japan’. These are unique for their graceful curves, which spread out across the landscape. Small rice fields are dotted in the slopes of the mountains. Here you can see the scenery of the terraced rice fields which became rare in Japan.
