A short movie about traveling on the Akita Nairiku Lin*, which runs through the hidden side of Akita, from Takanosu in the north to the old samurai town of Kakunodate in the south of the prefecture. Beautiful valleys, high mountains, soothing waters, historic bridges, magnificent views, mini-stations, quaint villages and a rich history await passengers on this 94-kilometer route. When the region is blanketed in snow, there is no better train ride. We traveled this line on a winter day in February 2023.
Technical infos:
I shot this film entirely on an iPhone 14 Pro.
