Carnival parade block from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This is a pre-carnival parade block. Carnival block parades have already started in Rio de Janeiro. The city returns to the party atmosphere after waves of the pandemic have restricted revelry throughout Brazil and the world. But this year we will have the full revelry with several blocks of carnival parade happening in the city, even simultaneously in several places. This weekend of February 18, 2023, we went to the carnival block parade that took place in the Santa Teresa neighborhood.
