Olympia Looping Roller Coaster Front Seat POV German Traveling Fair

  1. It uses tyres, which are high friction. I assume if they stop the friction will be enough to keep the train in place.

  2. Olympia Looping is one of the most thrilling and intense steel roller coasters to have ever existed. The only improvement to this ride would be trim brake removal and shoulder harness removal. It has the standard Schwartzkopf/Intamin lap bars, so the only need for the shoulder restraint is for the insurance company. In fact, I believe it used to have only lap bars, like Drier Looping (triple looper, just as good of a ride & Olympia Looping's cousin) now has, unless Drier has changed since 89.

  3. Great comment! There's an HD pov of Montana Infinitum/Dreier Looping (La Feria) on the TVMontanarusa channel, well worth checking out (and Superman el Ultimo Escape for that matter 🙂

    Schwarzkopf Forever!

  4. Are people allowed to scream on these rides? Just sayin, cause if you watch other videos people are bound to scream their lungs out…

  5. Should be "Olympia Looping" and during Oktoberfest in Munich it says "München".
They might put both signs up all the time though – can't remember.

It uses the Schwarzkopf Cone system – so very few screws / bolts. Should take about a week to set it up.

One of my favourite roller coasters. I hated it first because it was very rough. A couple of years later I went on it again and it was very smooth and fast. First and last row are good. First might be slightly better on this.

  6. I don't know why, but for some reason I feel proud knowin' that I have this roller coaster in No Limits.

  7. My first Rollercoaster as a kid… I was scared as hell, but went on it quite a few times till then.
