Japan Tag / Japan Day 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany! Amazing Japanese Cultural Event! 4K-HDR Walk Tour

Welcome to Japan Day or Japan Tag / 日本デー in Düsseldorf, Germany! This is the largest Japanese cultural event outside of Japan. Every year, except for 2020 and 2021 when it was cancelled, Japan-Tag attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors, otakus, manga fans and Japan lovers from all over the world. Here I am taking a walk from the beginning to around the middle section of the festival area in May 2022. You can find a full tour in my previous video linked down below. This year more than 600.000 visitors came to experience a diverse range of presentations and entertainment, such as traditional music and dance programs, Manga stands, sake seminars, calligraphy lessons, kimono fittings, samurai presentations, Japanese board games and of course delicious Japanese food such as Sushi, Karaage and Tempura. There were three stages which presented Traditional culture, modern Japanese pop culture and typical sports. The motto for this year’s spectacular fireworks was “Together for Peace and Friendship”. On this very special Japan Day / Japan Tag (日本デー ) event, Germans and Japanese were brought together under the flag of the Rising Sun, to celebrate the long bond that the two countries share.
