Traveling to Japan? Looking for a place to stay?? What does $95 get you in Asakusa, Tokyo?!?
I decided to book the APA Hotel Asakusa Kaminarimon and here’s my opinion:

Pros:
– SUPER convenient (2 minute walk from Asakusa Station, 2 minute walk to the Kaminarimon Gate, Nakamise-dori Street, Sensō-ji 浅草寺
– Clean
– Very nice & polite staff
– Pretty quiet despite being very close to a major tourist attraction
– Plenty of convenient stores/restaurants nearby

Cons:
– Very small room
– $$$ for the amount of space you’re getting

If you’re a light traveler simply looking for a place to sleep in the Asakusa area, this hotel is SUPER convenient as it is close to everything. However, if you’re a hotel room enthusiast and want to experience all the amenities you may want to fork out a bit more money and look for a different hotel. Also, if you have tons of luggage, it’s hard to organize your belongings as space is definitely limited here!

  1. $95 a day, that’s considered cheap figuring how expensive Japan is to stay.

  2. Nice! I'm starting to plan some Asia trips this year! Might be able to fit Japan in the budget if I can get a hotel for $95!
