We take you on the ultimate MALAYSIA STREET FOOD TOUR in Kuala Lumpur where everything is cheap and delicious! We’re not experts in Malaysian cuisine so we asked a local food expert to show us all the amazing spots to eat in and around Jalan Petaling aka Chinatown. We were blown away by all the flavours, textures and variety on this food tour. Hands down one of the best food experiences in our life!

  1. Hey guys. Happy to see you are enjoying KL so much. We have spent quite a bit of time there. We like it so much we plan to make it kind of a base. We plan to go there from time to time when we feel the need to slow down from our travels in SE Asia. Look forward to what you discover next.

  2. Awesome video,guys!
Really enjoyed it and your food guide was just awesome as well.
But Malaysia has still a lot more to be discover, keep going!
Looking forward to your next one.

  3. Malaysia is very diverse, especially in race, culture and food. The main race is Malay. So going to an unknown “food expert” who took you to sample food that leaves out the huge majority of other variety, makes your claim of an ultimate Malaysian food trail extremely inaccurate.

The majority of Malaysian food is halal based on ethnic proportion and there is an abundance of this and other variety.

I suggest you try the other varieties first.

In any case to say apam balik is Chinese pancake is grossly inaccurate.

  4. Fun video:) the tour looked great and he really knew his stuff and knew where to take you! Glad you had fun and thanks for taking us all along with you:)

  5. You guys made everything seems absolutely yummy, by the way the second stop is Chinese Pancake, I am pretty sure they have those in Bangkok cause I saw those at the other YouTuber channels several places. If my memory is correct, even Bangkok China Town has them.

  6. The curated experience is equally authentic, if not more authentic! 😂

  7. Do notice… we shake hands… and we bring our hands to our heart…

Shock! = Syiok!… originally Shocking!… but Malaysians have taken it to mean Shockingly Good!… also in Singapore…

We Malaysian are definitely shy about flavour!

These tours are good … you would try thing that otherwise you wouldn't be brave enough to try on your own… a confidence booster…

  8. Love your shirt Note…CANADA. We will be in Malaysia in March…can't wait! I'm writing down all of places that you visit with hopes that we can take in some of the areas that you explored. Blessings to you both. A Canadian viewer….

  9. Being a chinese guide, He brought you to mainly chinese places for food, so you both missed many delicious Malay and mamak food.

  13. Petaling street is not chinatown
Yes it was setup as mechants hub in the old kl era and most shoplots were chinese owned where you can find traditional food passed down from generations here.

  14. I been in malay. Food malay so much oil, unhealthy . My advise come to try vietnamese food. Much better
